There are no rules! It really comes down to personal taste. In a kitchen I prefer knobs on the uppers, but for the built-ins around the house I used pulls for the uppers, just because that is what looked best (to me) for the space.

All my cabinet hardware is the same size: 5.5”.

Thank you. we are doing single pulls on the longer 30” and 36” drawers, do we will have a mix no matter what. Curious if anyome has done diff size pulls for uppers and lowers, but maybe i should just stick with same size. just cant decide between 5 and 6” pulls.

Do the 6” on both uppers and lowers.

Always nice to have a little extra room for your hands.

I have 10” pulls on my 39” uppers and 10” pulls on my standard height lowers.

I used various sizes on my drawers. i made my rule be 1/2 of the drawer width.
