My main experience with pots is fabric pots (overflow when I have too many summer veg starts) and just a few clay/concrete pots that I started with.

When I started getting bigger pots, I went with double walled resin/plastic ? Figured the insulated cavity would be good for both summer/winter. In retrospect I have seen plants survice JUST fine in fabric pots completely frozen to the ground. Other stuff I have observed overwinter both in dirt/pot, the ones in the dirt survive, the ones in pot don't.

In buying more new pots this year, loved the design of the fiberglass pots. Loved the shape and the finish.

Anyhow, do you guys care about the material of pots. Terra, Concrete and Ceramic tend to be traditional materials but is ***heat soak*** a concern vs. other materials. And or the latter, if over wintering, is a double walled pot superior to a single wall.

Off topic but I actually thought about cookware when I considered pot material.

In the realm of cooking, one can debate hours long on 3.5/3mm copper, or 2.9 thick aluminum, etc, etc all day long and it's different heat properties.
