I just received samples of Flooret Nakan Signature and the narrower board. I was really impressed with the quality although I still prefer Laminate.

Check the warranty.

There are so many variables that it is a hard question to answer. In my opinion Karndean has the best looking floors. Their beefiest are their Art Select and Da Vinci lines, which have a 30 mil wear layer and come with a 20 year commercial warranty. They will be able to handle whatever you throw at it. Those are glue down formats. If you want rigid core look at their Van Gogh line (20 mil wear layer, 15 year commercial warranty), and Korlok line (20 mil wear layer, 15 year commercial warranty, visuals aren't as good). About half of the Van Gogh line comes in rigid core. All of the ones I mentioned come with a Lifetime Residential Warranty. Happy hunting!

@James Cronk I've been looking at a bunch of other brands and haven't fallen in love with any and just learned of Karndean and they seem to have colors I haven't been able to find in Paradigm, Coretec, or Provenza. I will look more into them with your glowing endorsement. Thanks.

Check out CoreTec Grande. I haven't used it but have several samples and may go that route for new build. It's beefy and nice!
