My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Was the siding a matte finish or glossy?

We have two samples we're trying to choose between, and the iron grey from the standard collection (cedarmil) arrived with a glossy finish that we don't like, whereas the dream collection (Black Diamond) came in a matte finish that we would prefer.

    This project features an 8.25" (7" Exposure) HardiePlank Cedarmill with Color Plus finish in Iron Gray. I would describe the finish as having a light sheen when exposed to direct light, but definitely not matte. This picture was taken when it was cloudy, so the plank may not be reflecting much light back, which may contribute a matte appearance. I advise evaluating samples on one sunny day, and on another overcast day, both in the AM and PM to see how the colors appear under different lighting conditions. Thank you for your question!
