Yes, go to the brick yard to see the brick. Not only is there the color to choose, but the texture and quality of the brick. There is also a price difference in different colors. Depending on if they are made locally or have to be shipped in. Clay in certain areas produce different colors. When we were looking for brick the brick yard gave us some address of home already built with the brick we were interested in to look at.

I don't want a red brick. We are going to do all bring with stone around the door and cedar shake on the arch. I love grey and dark brick. When I go to the brick yard I see some I like but can't imagine them on a house. Is there an app I can see brick or other options on my house

I grew up in a house that looked like General Shale Misty Hollow with a white grout and it was pretty handsome. But it also had a lot of window area and a second story of white clapboard, so the relatively dark brick was offset by a lot of white.
