@Miranda33 i dont have appliances on my counter. what uou are saying is fine if you have a white backsplash. mine will be bronze glass.

My electrician couldn't manage to do either of the options pictured below, so had him put outlets as high as possible on backsplash (outlet covers touch bottom of cabinets).

Works well for me as I leave nothing plugged in and few things on counter.

You could install something like this Wiremold 20GB612 Plugmold Multioutlet System to the bottom of the cabinet.

We moved our outlets to underneath the cabinets using kitchenpowerups undercabinet hardwired power boxes.
