We set most center but those photos look very nice!

Good pick as tab pulls sometimes require milling the drawer face to fit.

Thanks, Jeffery -- that was our other concern. With a slew of mistakes in our build, asking them to route out the tops of all our cabinets just seemed to be asking for trouble. I should add that all our lowers are 3-drawer cabinets -- smaller top drawer and the lower two are deeper.

Anywhere from center to near the top. I am tall so near the top is preferable.

And I'm hoping to be an old lady in this house, so don't want to bend too far down either!

My main question is how close to the top could we safely go? We don't want to risk splitting the wood...

If you're considering aging in place, you may want to choose a pull you can just put your fingers through instead of having to grasp

Put on the most well insulated mittens you can find on your hands and try to open drawers and doors to test the 'graspability' of a pull.

LOL -- thanks for those thoughts. We did consider the graspability. That was also a reason to pass on the edge pulls we initially had. These have quite a bit of grab, even with my most well-insulated mittens on. :) (Edit: just realized the picture I posted has them rotated -- they have a significant lip to grab!)

Are you happy with these? We have similar cabinets and are considering these in the ash grey.

Yes -- our cabinets are Karmin in Java, and the handles are working out well.
