Growing in Kansas City area, full sun, wet to moist soil, ~2’ high.

It isn’t in an easily accessible place, so hopefully this picture is hepful.

    Tradescantia, commonly called spiderwort. Is this in the wild, or in a garden situation?

    Most garden varieties are T. viginiana, or hybrids of it. T. ohiensis and T. occidentalis are other possible species for your area, although occidentalis prefers drier sites.
