How was the mercury glass effect achieved?

I love the mercury glass look on the set of blue cabinets. Was that done by the manufacturer of the cabinets or a project done after purchase? It’s stunning!

Thank you! We used a custom glass company to create antiqued glass--there are so many fun options! We ordered the cabinet panels "prepped" for glass to be mounted in the center. Always best to plan ahead:)
