Are the floors waxed or poly? If wax, just rub on some wax and buff. If poly, does the scuff go all the way to raw wood? In the pic it doesn’t look that deep so I might try a little wax that is made for poly.

Thank you Kate, it’s poly. No it does not go thru to the wood..more surface mark, but seems a different finish in the one line now. Can you suggest a wax to try?

If you haven't already, try youtube for repairing poly finish on hardwood floors. There are quite a few videos using different product that might work. I might try this on the tiniest edge of the mark to see what it does. He starts out talking about furniture but later about floors: https://youtu.be/Dh2f2-zSSOc 

Mohawk markers would probably help. The challenge is to pick a color, unless you can find a local seller with markers in stock.

It looks like a rubber drag mark, in which case it should rub off.

There are a few ways to fix marks in wood flooring:

-If the mark is small, you can use a wood filler to fill it in. Make sure the filler matches the color of your flooring.

-If the mark is bigger, you can try using a wood stain to cover it up. Choose a color that is close to the original color of your flooring.
