How long before you decide if it's aster yellows

I actually don't wait at all, and maybe I should. It's really hard to tell because echinacea starts out sort of a greenish hue and then develops the color of the petals.



I think I have thrown away more plants than maybe I needed to. I would give you a picture, but my phone keeps everything in the cloud, and I cannot figure out how to post to GardenWeb from Google Play photos. Sigh
