Also should note that these 3 plants are right next to each other. About 20 feet away I have another collection of container tomato plants that look fine. Could it be something that spread from one of these plants to the other 2 due to proximity?

If it's disease, that's certainly possible. Herbicide drift and wind damage would probably affect other plants as well. But I wouldn't rip anything out unless things actually start to die.

Thanks! I'm definitely not going to rip anything out. Like I said, they are producing well so far. Just aesthetically look really sad, compared to my other tomato plants. But tons of flowers and fruit, no signs of pests or decay or anything dying. Just really depressed-looking leaves and branches.

If these plants are in black containers and get long hours of direct sun then maybe the roots that are growing against the plastic plastic are getting overheated? Best guess. If so then shading the black containers might help.

I noticed this on on my Federle tomato last year - it was like that the whole season but seemed healthy otherwise, just severely curled with almost a weeping habit. I looked at pictures of curly top virus and it wasn't that, no bugs, etc. It produced great so I left it alone. It never stopped growing like that but I had no issues. I grew it in a bed with other tomatoes and it didn't affect them.

I have two Moskvich tomatoes this year doing the same thing but they are full of tomatoes. I don't plan on doing anything unless something wrong becomes obvious. So just wanted to say that though I don't have an answer, it may be something that doesn't need attention. Good luck!
