Is this dryer vent hose up to code?

I called a professional to have my dryer vent hose cleaned. They said the metal foil hose I had was not up to code and that they would install a new rigid metal one.

What they installed is actually 6 or so pieces of rigid vent that they cut and then taped together with this silver tape instead of fully rigid pieces.

Picture below. Is this safe?

They installed rigid pipe and sealed the joints with the foil tape as they should have. It is much better than having the flexible foil pipe which certainly isn’t up to code.

And they didn't use a lot of 90 degree turns.

I only see one 90 degree turn (coming out over electrical panel) and then it transitions to like a 45 degree angle.

Rigid pipe and foil tape and support straps, looks like decent job.

The smooth interior surface of rigid/solid-flue material presents less resistance to airflow vs. the spring-coils of flexible plastic or foil ducting.

Please make sure they didn't screw the rigid pipes together. Screws can catch lint and cause major clogging issues and I believe is against code.

For as long as it meets the Electrical code clearance requirements.

Nothing is allowed to be installed in a working space 2’6” wide by 3’ deep by 6’6” high in front of an electric panel, per the National Electrical Code. That includes a washer, clothes dryer, water heater, pool equipment, water treatment equipment, shelving, or a counter.
