Help with foyer lighting

Any thoughts on this light for a foyer ? Will this style be dated any time soon & its trendy?? i know its mid modern century soaybe not ?. My home style is not just labeled in one , ilove artsy things around the house but keep everything furniture & walls ect more neutral. Little transitional , modern organic & love mid century modern lighting. I just want something w some staying power for the foyer since it's so high up won't be switched out ! I don't usually like black w gold but in person it was pretty striking the gold was more muted. I javelin to say pics don't do it any justice! It's alot bigger too in person which I need. Ty for anu input or suggestions?

This fixture makes me feel uneasy. I would not like standing under it. Perhaps I would feel different if I saw it in context.

FWIW, I have a similar version in my foyer. It’s the Strada Medium Chandelier from Visual Comfort. It has the same spiky arms but it’s not in a cube. I was uncertain as it’s a bit outside my comfort zone but it’s beautiful. I used 2.5W T6 Clear LED Dimmable E12 Candelabra Based bulbs for it. The bulbs have a rounded tip not a flame tip; I think that’s prettier in this fixture.

@ffpalms I see but my ceiling is 18 feet high in foyer so wouldn't really worry about touching your head. lol. Ty

@L P Omg I am actually torn between this & that same exact one you have  ! I  been wanting to know how it looks up I can't believe I found someone who has that light !? I was thinking of getting the 28 in one in gold? Could you show a picture of what it looks like possibly ? Love to see before I buy ! Thank you!

It does resemble a dandelion, and is very complementary to the pressed leaves so beautifully framed. Thanks for sharing the photo.

@L P  Thank you for the photos your lighting is absolutely beautiful it's also out of my comfort zone especially if I was to go with the brass !  I've been doing silver my whole entire life & wanted a change. I love how your light looks I've been dying to see it up what size did you go with if u don't mind ? Thanks so much again for showing me ur beautiful light ! ✨️

This is the medium Strada chandelier. My ceilings are 10’ but the foyer is narrow. It works here but it would be really pretty in a more impressive room size. My finishes in this house are all silver toned but the gold finish is beautiful. Thank you for your kind words. I hope you find a light fixture you love.

I like the spikey ball but not suspended inside a cube. But that's just me.

@L P HI I was just wondering what ate your measurements in your hallway ?  The med looks a little smaller ? That's the 28 inch ? Beautiful just want to know if it be big enough for my house ? Ty again!

The hallway where the Strada Chandelier is placed is a narrow 5'.5" x 12' with a 10' ceiling (I wish it was a more generously sized foyer but its a production built home in an over 55 community). Beyond the first 12' portion is a trimmed opening leading to the second 12' part of the hallway. It's all one long hallway with the trimmed opening dividing it into two parts. The second part of the foyer has two recessed lights. You're correct, the Strada Medium Chandelier is 28" wide. I hope that's a little bit helpful.

@L P OK  wow ! Thank you very much for much for all the information I truly appreciate it !  You been very helpful with all the sizes & actually changed my mind . I loved the light but something about how the gold looked too brassy for me. Now that I seen the  polished nikel I definitely like that color finish better! Well ty It looks so beautiful in your home I can imagine the rest of your house !
