just about anything goes w/snowbound. I'd stay away from anything w/too much yellow undertone to it. your lighting is very warm.

These will all look great w/snowbound since snowbound leans a little on the pink undertone spectrum.

I would go with a taupe tone rather than a creamy color, something that ties to the sofa and lets the lighter furniture shine.

Get one taller/larger lamp, or even a floor lamp (ambient light is always a plus) and a large area rug (a pattern & color to ground the space.

I'd put the books behind closed doors and display a couple things you treasure.

How about a large piece of art over that game table?

Warning - the colors that I used above are from the SW computer app. I use it to get into the right color family, but it is always a bit off. Computers are an awful way to view colors.

The two pics above are Lightweight Beige and Bona Fide Beige. Other than Choice Cream the colors I picked above are all warm neutrals that lean toward or are taupe (that color between violet gray and pink beige).

The last 4 colors that Beth shared are also Taupe. Pick out a whole bunch of samples and look at them next to your sofa to pick something that works perfectly with the sofa and doesn't go too gray, too pink or too purple and doesn't get that muddy look next to your sofa when you get just a bit too much yellow.

Prime your walls first then test large samples of the colors that you picked on the wall. They will look way more pink or purple next to the yellow currently on the wall.

Everything in this room is beige, so I’m not sure painting the walls another beige is the best choice. Do you have a piece of art you love or a throw pillow or some other accessory you could draw a wall color from?

I agree with @Lyn Nielson Paint the walls and ceiling in Snowbound flat and leave the trim in Snowbound semi-gloss. We did the same with Alabaster, very nice look and unites the different angles and windows in the living room by making them disappear. Otherwise the Healing Aloe or Gray Owl as mentioned.
