I'm blessed to have been part of OBF for many years!

I am thankful for dogs. So simple....all they want to do is be loved and make you happy.

I agree with Annie but I have to throw in my cats too. I am thankful for all our fur babies. Each one has its’ own personality and sure helps when I am feeling down.

Annie good to hear you are getting rain. It is raining here now and supposed to rain all day tomorrow. We need this rain so bad. Thank you Lord for our rain.

In the 70s yesterday then rain all day today taking temps into the 40’s daytime and low 30s nightime. Bye Bye annuals.

I am thankful for my family who have reached out today to comfort us after our dachshund took off after a squirrel and ran out in front of a car and was killed. He is usually chained up but followed my husband to the compost before hubby was going to bring him in. Bentley apotted the squirrel and took off. He has never run in the road but I guess it takes once. It’s been rough because we lost our other fur baby 4 months ago.

Hi! I am thankful for family. My sister, 51, is engaged. First time and wedding is Jan. She's coming back to the hometown so mom n I are busy planning, etc. It's such a blessing to see her so happy. Im also having fun telling my other single cousins there's still time! 

I'll take some of that rain. We'd  even take snow. Very dry in Nebraska.

Got mail from Miss Margo...thanks so much for the lovely card, seeds San Marzano Tomato and Mammoth Basil...and my recipe is Basic Tomato Sauce From Fresh San Marzano. This is right up my alley. And Margo...no confetti in my envie!!! Whatever were you thinking...I want confetti...LOL!!

Seems as if some are going and getting received! Yeah!I will be sending mine today! I hope everyone is getting in the Thanksgiving mood. I have a small Turkey to bake. Used to be our holiday was so bug , we had huge turkeys and ham! But most people has passed on and so it's a small ordeal, but a thankful one! Not cooking for weeks ahead anymore.

Today, I am thankful for heat! Snow again!

Today I am just thankful to be alive!

I received my card from Jeanne, with a recipe for Brown Sugar Honey Glazed Carrots and pack of carrot seeds.

I also always use regular carrots instead of baby carrots. We always have carrots as we give our dogs one every night as a treat.

We had our first freeze of the season Saturday night. 29 degrees. Haven't checked on any plants since the cold started last week. From inside they look pretty bad.

Thank you Ruth for the card/recipe and the onion seeds. I love to plant and harvest onions. The Bread Stuffing (Filling) recipe sounds yummy. Thanks again.

So thankful for all my plants that I am getting ready for the Winter months.
