As was said above, find a shower curtain that you love. Then get a little rug to go with it, and hang a pretty picture on the wall above the towel rack - you will see it in the mirror when you brush your teeth. But it all starts with the shower curtain. Go shop!

The real stickler is that shell/scalloped shapes sink. So, two suggestions. You could go with a beach theme-they don't have to be "kitschy"-with shell prints, or artwork that portrays beach or sea scenes. One good thing is that-other than the sink, the color scheme is rather neutral, so you could choose towels that are aqua, or seafoam, or a nice dark sand color. The other option is a little tougher, but doable. How about finding some graphic prints in black and white, ones that have prominent curves in them, but also other geometric shapes? Buy black and white towels, and black accessories, like soap dishes, etc. That way, everyone will see the bold colors and prints, and the shape of the sink will not stand out, and hopefully just join the graphics parade. You could shop for coordinating shower curtains, too. It also would be very modern. The beach one can be modern, too, of course-just think of as creating your own "spa."
Even if the bath is a "lemon," you can still make your own lemonade, I say. ")

Here are some great ideas.

That's really great, Maria. Your bland bath will now have some real "pzazz." I'll be looking forward to seeing the photos of it when you get your new stuff.
You could get black accessories, like a soap dispenser, trash can. etc. Are you going to try and find some artwork for the wall?

Yes any suggestions for art work
