I have Bedrosians Makoto tile. It’s a matte finish that I like with the honed stone. I feel like Taj has many different shades in it and looks good with several kinds of tile. Do you like the polished subway?

Wait until everything is installed before you choose your backsplash. A white-white backsplash may make your cabinets look unattractively yellow. Bring home several different tiles and you'll find something that works. It doesn't have to be subway if you like another shape more, but I wouldn't do something too busy that will compete with the countertop. I love Taj Mahal.

I love that you chose polished nickel. I have that finish for my faucet also but it was a leap as it's the only thing in that finish in our space.
