It applied the free shipping to my cart at checkout, I didn't have to use a code or anything. I only ordered one rose.

I'm only aware of these sales after I've already ordered, since the instinct is to order early to be sure of getting what you want. I can't blame them though because it's a way to get rid of their remaining inventory, and I doubt they would make much of a profit if the early birds were offered these incentives.

I have been meaning to replace my Fiji which I had to remove due to RRD. I could not pass on that white beauty. Heirloom claims it is disease resistant so I have to try it. I do not like many hybrid teas, but wow the white color really gets me. Fiji has the most gorgeous all fashioned blooms when it opens and the plant stays 4 feet tall here without pruning and perfect health.

Thanks Meg, I’ve been debating on what to purchase since the email came. I can’t decide between Celsiana, Henri Martin, or Quatre Saison. I’ve especially wanted to grow Celsiana but the area I have available is a hot (for here) south facing full sun position, I’m not sure she’d do well there. Thoughts?

I just recieved the 3 that I ordered from the Black Friday Sale etc. I am really happy with them. The other ones that I wanted to order are still out of stock so I will just wait until the next sale!

It's definitely worth getting on Heirloom's email notification list. While I technically don't need any more roses, I've gotten the heads-up on a few ultra-rare ones that I wanted from their emails.

I just tried putting one rose in my cart and it definitely shows free shipping for under $100. Maybe it's broken? Take advantage now!

My current problem is that I have three roses planted above a small rock wall and they're too dry to bloom and be happy. Until I figure out how to fix this or where to move them--no new roses for me! (I did dump a bunch of compost at their bases this fall...I am considering drip irrigation to just them...or I could move them into my native plant garden in the back but there's sort of no space there either...
