Wood Panel and Window Species

Hello. I would like to know what kind of wood was used for the Window and Paneling. It looks like maybe Walnut? Thank you.

It was Alder. It has a similar grain character. Typically knotty alder is used, but when specified as clear, it looks similar to walnut. In recent years, given its frequency of use as a walnut substitute it’s cost has risen substantially and not much different.
