And I actually think black would look beautiful with the navy lowers.

Order a black sample a chrome and a brass and see what you like best.

Faucet doesn’t have to, but I think with so much going on, I’d match it to the hardware.

Why not go with stainless appliances? Seems too heavy with black on black. What is your whole home door hardware throughout?

Looks like maybe black or ORB on the whole home hardware? I could see brushed nickel or stainless hardware and faucet and stainless appliances just to lighten it up and simplify.

I am not a fan of the gold hardware trend (personally) but you could of course go that route.

Thank you. What do you think about glass knobs with a color or clear? I do have some big drawers so I’d have to have handles on those. This is an up north lake home/ cabin.

I’m going to unpack one of the black stainless appliances and see how I like it but I’m thinking I need to exchange for regular ss. My though months ago was that keeping it clean would be easier. But this black/ blue colored stain just doesn’t seem like it would look very nice with it. My floors are all very light hardwood ( similar to the upper cabinets) and the home faces south and it’s all windows overlooking the lake. Plenty of light in there.

It would.

I’ve used tone on tone hardware quite successfully. There is no rule that all hardware has to provide contrast with your cabinets! Sometimes doing so adds unneeded drama. When there are a lot of things going on visually, sometimes it is best for the hardware to just be quietly functional and unobtrusive, and not add more complexity.

I don’t see blue in your dark wood but maybe that’s me….I think the advise to get a sample of each finish and check out in your space is good. I’d personally avoid clear as it feels too glam for a lake house….brushed stainless or nickel, black or antique brass all work - but touching a sample and seeing it in the space does help

And I agree w linda about the black on black is not a problem. But what exact pull/knob should be considered first. And if your doing all pulls vs mixing pulls and knobs should be considered.

I'd go with satin nickel everywhere. Would also tie in with regular stainless steel appliances if you make that switch.

Your cabinets look lovely. I would not get black appliances - or anything else black, actually. You need some sparkle and shine. Go for stainless appliances. You can use chrome or polished nickel for your faucet (don’t do satin, it’s so blah IMO). Depending on what else is going on, you can use pulls with some white or glass combined with chrome or polished nickel; or just do chrome or nickel. If you have gold in other things, you can bring that in, but that takes some real know-how. There are several articles on mixing metals here, on Pinterest, Maria Killam, etc. Also, pass on the ORB.

Black on the bottom will blend in but be a nice contrast above. Or, get the same pull in two finishes (just samples) and see what you like.
