IMO remove all that backsplash have the walls repaird and either do a gray from the counter or astainless backspalsh OOPS just relaized you have no stainless applaince sis that going to be as it is or are you going to get new? The range looks pretty old to me .

I'd either do the backsplash in the same surface as your counters, or do a soft gray-blue ceramic tile. Fireclay Tile's Nickel colorway would work nicely with both your counters and your cabinets.

pale green glass or ceramic....you want to warm it up slightly and the floor is warm.....there are various greens..have a look..it would be a nice complement and so pleasing. here's a modern one and then glass.
