Sorry, but that small mirror is not going to work with the scale of your architecture. I would recommend a large wall mirror with a minimal black metal frame for this area.

The mirror in no way works with the rest of the decor which IMO looks like a kids entry Is the rest of the house that same colorful style and decor ? I do agree if you want a mirro it needs to be a simple framed one I see 2 different benches which one is in the entry ?

If you don't want to buy a new one, spray paint it black. While the style may not be perfect, black will make the ornamentation less noticeable.

I think leaving it gold would work well with your colors. Maybe try it for a bit, you can always paint it different later. Black would be the safe choice, but other colors could work, too.

If you like that mirror, use it. Clearly you like an eclectic and collected look … I think it’ll look fine. Nothing wrong with mixing ornate and clean lines in certain cases.

I would pull a color from your rug..blue, purple..make it eclectic and fun to match the rug and pillows!
