I vote no shutters and any color for the door. Think balance.

You definitely do not want to put the shutters back on the wide window as they don't fit. You can keep them on the upper story if you like them. The front door doesn't need to match the shutters. Black shutters would look good with the siding and brick. If you want a blue front door and you keep the shutters you should use a medium blue so they're clearly different. A dark blue would have people wondering why the door and shutters weren't the same color. Don't use a color that is too bright (some blues are electric), and get a full view storm door so the front door is visible. Green would also work on the front door.

I appreciate your feedback! What about that smaller yet still wide window down below with the brick? Should I “sans” the shutters there?

IMO the wrong color choice for siding but now I guess at least no shutters on any of the windows .

I think the siding color looks great. Agree with kandrewspa regarding shutters on upper windows only (no, not on the low window with brick). Black will def work.

Something like this might be another option with your siding and brick. I’m trying to remember the name but it’s from SW.
