Sorry I did forget about Valentines Day being upon us but if the cards are late it will still be fun to get our cards/seeds.

Kim good for you that you will get some gardening done. One day it will be warm and the next day cold and windy here.

The Franklin Garden Club ladies contacted a teacher at our High School and asked if we could get some of the students to help in the downtown gardens yesterday and boy did we get some great help. 3 classes showed up at different times and the gardens look great. Just have to get the mulching done now.

Thank you, Jeanne. All good selections for me. I love white Alyssum and you can never have too much salvia. The hummers, bees and butterfly's all love it. Hollyhocks are one of my daughters favorites. We haven't tried to grow any in a long time. It doesn't seem to like us, but we will try.

Ruth Congrats 🎉 Received Margo’s Valentines card with sweet red peppers, red white pink hibiscus mix and aster pale pink. Thank you Margo. Hopefully you receive my card by today it went out Wednesday. Hope your move prep is going well and you can take some of your plants with you. It was 76 here yesterday and I was able to get up temp fence around some of my beds. I have to start earlier each year to battle the deer who love to eat my hostas and daylilies first shoots. Today it’s 35, but will make it to 50s so hope to get a few more winter sowing jugs full. Happy Valentines to everyone and Happy almost spring:)

Kim, I did receive your catd today. Thankyou for the Shasta, zinnia , and morning glory seeds. Hopefully, they will be planted in Virginia. Our house has been on the market for a week. Four showings but no interest so far. Keep your fingers crossed.

My first daffodils bloomed yesterday.

It was 90 degrees here. Hope that's not a taste of what summer will be like this year.

75 today after overnight storms. 75 is perfect.

Spring has arrived early here too. 72 today and the same tomorrow. The helleboros are opened even more since the pic taken yesterday.

I received a lovely card and some great seeds from Melinda. Thanks so much! I'll definitely plant the seeds: Gypsophila, Balsam Camellia, Alyssum Pastel Carpet, and Cosmos Sensation.

I'm so excited my first baby chicken has hatched. 7 more to go. I didn't think it would work so I bought 8 at Tractor Supply yesterday. Oh well now I am in the chicken business.

Ruth your Bingo prize was mailed yesterday.

Saw Jesus Revolution at the Theater last night and it was awesome. Go and see it if you can.
