I agree with Mrs S. It doesnt look good, and I would also be upset about it. Door casings were cut too short. They should go all the way to the floor. The framing itself, is too short. A good installer would not have left that. You never caulk casings to the floor. Thats a receipe for a cracked disaster.

For anyone who commented. This was the fix. They caulked it pretty poorly so I removed the caulk to redo it.

The flooring transition piece should have been removed and then cut to butt up to the door jamb and reinstalled. I’d be livid as well.
