I think your space looks really nice. Maybe try the floor lamp in the very corner with the chair closer to the vanity. A desk lamp on the vanity might be good too. I don't think you need to do too much. I would also raise your curtain rod so that the curtains just skim the floor. High and wide is the way to go.

Try a piece of art on the wall above the HVAC unit and a slightly larger, more comfortable chair in the corner.

You could push the lamp back more I think. Is that a heater on the wall? Yes, I agree that you could do a more plush chair. It depends on how you'll use it. We have a cute small chair in the bedroom that is great for holding folded laundry that's waiting to be put away. :)

Art is def def def needed...any places you guys like to source from...seriosuly green homeowner here so trying to get meaningful stuff that does't break the bank but also isn't just bland? Tough...!

Estate sales, thrift stores and Etsy are good places for original art. Maybe FB Marketplace. If you're decorating your whole home, you may get addicted to estate sales! I have found some really amazing pieces, plus it's been fun to see parts of town that I never would have visited.

Adjust and add the drapery to help ake the corner more cozy. A more comfortable chair could help the corner
