It is hard to see from the pictures. It looks like Georgian or Rococo. But it looks like all the decorative finishes below have been stripped away.

What difference does it make what it's called? It's not complementary to the contemporary home in which it's been installed I would remove it all.

It is very trendy now to mix different styles. I like how RH do it with their modern furniture.

Definitely not craftsman. Your molding looks nothing like the OP’s molding. I would just call the OP’s molding ornate and let it go at that.

It definitely has a Parisian pre-war feeling to it.
