I need ideas for a piece of furniture for under this large window in my front entry of my 1910s victorian foursquare. It's nearing 6 feet wide. The table there now came from my previous home and is just sitting there all small and insignificant under the window now as a placeholder. I was thinking a console or a bench would be good but can't find one wide enough. How big should a piece of furniture be under a window this size? I don't want anything bulky but substantial enough to fit this space. Any ideas/thoughts are welcome... thanks.
