After today it looks like the leaves got worse and now the whole plant has wilted as well.

I'm stumped. BSs are not that easy to grow, I've tried them a few times and results have been minimal to bad. Aphids were the problem here, at least one of the problems, their poor performace stumped me so I gave up on growing them. Mine were planted in the ground and it looks like you have yours in containers so that may have something to do with it too? The bubbly appearance of some of those leaves may indicate a virus, best guess.

I definitely think it is some kind of disease, because I’m up on the 16th floor so must common bugs are out of question. I also don’t see aphids or spider mites. I’m just wondering if I should pull that plant before it infects the other plants or if I can find a remedy for the plant!

have you failed to mention.. you are growing them in bins...you did mention 16th floor..

what is the structure around the plant.. the vertical things..

what media did you use.. how do you water... when were these planted.. etc...

They are not planted in bins, there in recycled fabric bags they are wedged in between bins for support and blocked from heavier winds. I used a fresh bag of perlite and outdoor vegetable soil.

Planted back in feb/march moved outside in April, in New England. Water every couple of days, when we have’t gotten rain.

For the safety of the other plants I am pulling the apotted one out because it has gotten worse today and don’t want it spreading to other plants.

Probably more of a pest than disease issue. Pull the plant out and see if the roots are rotted, might pull out really easy, some root maggots might be killing it from down below.

Pulled it, roots looked normal, not sign of rot, and no bugs.

Since you have had to ditch the sprouts it might be a good time to rethink the value of growing them. They are large plants, not easy to grow well and each one does not provide a huge harvest. If you only have limited space you might get better value from growing herbs and salad greens.

Hi Floral! I still have 3! Only one other plant is showing spotted leaves but nothing like the first one. But i definitely try to be creative with the little space I have to grow and have a bunch of other stuff growing but went into growing brussel sprouts as a fun experiment!

Thanks for the encouragement! It’s always fun to try something new, but its never great when a plant dies. Maybe i missed the window! I live in boston, zone 6b, i started growing them back in feb and put then outside in March/april. I could always cut down the other weak plants and try again in the fall.

i do have a tendency to push the limits with overcrowding because of limited space which may be a factor here
