Need Living Room Ideas
Help…need storage cabinet/shelf/etc idea for either side of my fireplace. I like the idea of small bookshelves but I’m stumped because of the wainscoting panels, plus I have a smaller space on the left due to the window.
Ideas please???

Do something like this for a solution. Obviously, this photo is the opposite of your wall.Use the right side of your fireplace for cabinets and t v. Left side you can either leave as is or add like shelves/drawers. It doesn't matter that the fireplace is off-side. Makes the wall interesting.
Moving the t v will make the lovely fireplace the focal point. You can hang the art over it. The art will show better.

PRO2 years agoIf you did built-ins you'd probably only be able to do to the right of the fireplace. It would be asymmetrical, so you'd have to decide if you were okay with that. Currently you're space looks nice though, so you might just leave things as is. See ideas below for how you might be able to rework the space:
