Anyone?

I bought a 21q All American about three years ago. I love it, except it's too tall to fit on the stove under the built-in microwave. My kids bought me a portable electric burner for Mother's Day, and it works great. I hope that helps.

I also love my All American 921 1/2, although it is not new. I have a much newer one, I don't remember the number but it holds 4 quarts or 6 pints and it works like a champ too. I also have an old Presto, but it's thinner metal than the All American ones are, and it's harder to keep the pressure consistent. IT seems like I might as well just stand there and constantly adjust the heat up and down!

I have all American canners , the one that holds 4qts and the one that holds 7 qts..

Yeah I have to keep monitoring the pressure and open the stopcock to regulate the pressure.

I just got a presto 16 quart and have been using it daily. Made some pulled pork yesterday ... they all sealed. Had just enough extra left and we had sandwiches. It's gonna be great for a quick meal when things get hectic. Did seven quarts of pinto beans today. one didn't seal and it went in the fridge ... less a couple spoonfuls. My old one was a presto as well, but much smaller. I learned to can with my grams and mom a few decades back. My DW thinks I am nuts, but she enjoys the fruits of the labor.

Yes, my husband got me a nestco elec canner for my birthday. It's 10 qts n works wonderful. I also have a steam canner I bought a few months ago. So much faster than a pot of boiling water.
