Just removed pollen from Kiwi Milky way I got last year. Somehow it ended up being first streaker to bloom. I have some blooms coming on IAT,  Powder Keg and couple of my favorite heavy streakers.

Imam in general disregard blooms on hostas unless I need it. That beautiful pollen on your flowers make me salivate 😆

What is the gorgeous yellow plant in last pic?

miles - my flower stalks disappear sometimes, cut off about half way down. I've always assumed it was rabbits.

sandyslopes - hummingbird activity always increases when the hostas start blooming, love them.

lindalana - I've only dabbled with trying cross pollination a time or two, i've got a lot to learn there. That last picture is Crazy For You, it got a lot bigger than I expected.

miles10612 - we quite often will put a few nice blooms in a vase also or use them to compliment a bouquet.

I have also done likewise…… great minds …… you know!

Blooms are galore now but with last week of rain no hybridizing happened and my most favorite streakers all went into blooming at once. If July stays drier I might get lucky with few more blooming. August blooms usually useless as they do not set well.

May I introduce you to Monster Ears? A real beauty, with sparkling white, upfacing flowers. This may be my favorite hosta flower :-)
