Prune the tree in the foreground. Remove the tree on the right side of the door. remove the tall bush on the left.

Hard to see the house in your photo. From what I can see it looks unique. I would retain it's uniqueness and play upon that.

Before I would touch the house, I would cut down all the overwhelming trees, etc. Seriously. Gorgeous potential.

I agree the landscaping is horrible and we need to see the whole house but right now that front door looks cheap next to what appears to be an interesting entry .So more pics please of the actual house maybe after you cut down all that overgrowth please DO NOT start another post all questions , answers aand pics here in comments

That is a lot of large trees/shrubs right next to the house foundation. Not only does it look bad, but can cause damage to your foundation. Start by removing those and then you'll be able to take a real look at your house.

The home itself looks to have great bones. I would simplify the details on the doors so that they match the exterior details in the back & change out the exterior lighting for a design that is more contemporary to match the home. Less.............Frenchish.

I would save my money to work on undoing the vast issues on the interior of this home. Once you strip away all the over-the-top decorating you might find a really well-designed home.

I agree with Beverly that the style of the door can be updated. I also think the whiteness of the door is too stark. Closeup photos of the stone will help us find a softer matching color. From a distance, a warm gray might work.

We all want to see more of the outside and inside. Please post photos with the landscaping cut back.

Are you sure the owner doesn't have the original drawings of the home?

You might find some info on the permits that were pulled to originally build the home.

Let’s hope the listing furniture and window treatments are no longer there.
