What's this disease on Walnut tree?

Hello,
This is a young Walnut tree that started to show dark spots on the leaves. What could be the problem?
Knowing that we pulled out a wood borer caterpillar from its trunk. Could this pest in the trunk cause these symptoms on the leaves? Or is it something else?
And after we got rid of the pest, will the tree normally recover, or does it need extra fertilising?

your tree is extremely stressed from having its heartwood eaten out.. and the requisite surgery to remove the critter.. FERT IS NEVER A RESPONSE TO STRESS...

tree time is counted in decades.. it will be at least a year before you know if it can overcome all this... just keep it properly watered during such..

and you really shouldnt be surprised.. that you have some leaf stress and damage from all of that nonsense... i do not recommend slathering on any more remedies on a heavily stressed plant...

put the pot in full bright shade.. and ignore it until fall.. except for a drink in drought.. if any... trees in pots dont need a lot of water...

Yes it's planted in the ground, not in a pot.
