I voted for three because it is the most soothing one for me.

My vote is for #2 because it has the most contrasting colors.

#1 - The most striking and incorporates the colors in your room.

I like 2 - a little more contrast and oomph.

I love #4. It has a wonderful depth and great coloration. If you love a piece of art, it should stand alone for it’s own beauty and enjoyment.

Art is very personal, but consider something less commercial feeling. I love this piece. Bring a bit more warmth and color into this lovely room. Just my take on it.

I couldn’t get full feel for this piece from their website but you can see how dynamic the coloring is to make a statement in this room.

I liked number 4 because:

• Provides the most striking contrast to the room colors
• has a distinct shape to it that stands out
• has the most depth of field which provides three-dimensionality
• feels least like something you would see in an office lobby

Why do you love them ? To me they all look the same type and probably hanging in hotels somewhere . Why not go to a gallery and find an artist you like and get a piece done for that huge wall. I think to go on a hunt for art is a really fun weekend trip . I aslo go to art college to see what the young artists are doing and you might find one who just speaks to you .I think to buy art to go with a space is all wrong.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting I think what draws me to these pictures are the colors. I am drawn to the blues and gold. Most of my searches have been on-line and in furniture stores. As I was searching, I found myself always picking pictures from the same artist (Jacob Lincoln). I think that is why they are so similar. I previously did a lot of business travel and maybe hotel art sticks in the back of my mind...lol.

I am going to an art show at the end of August so I am hoping they will have something unique that speaks to me. I will also check out some of the downtown Columbus Oh Art Galleries. I didn't think about going to the Art college. I will definitely check into that also. Thanks for your help and advice!

Art is very personal. Is there one that you're drawn to more than the others? Is there one that you picked first and then keep coming back to? I personally like #4 and #1 as they are more unique. I've seen the other two in some form and they don't feel as special. However when judging a piece of art for my space, I ask myself "is this something that I can look at every day and smile" . Sometimes we choose art because we're trying to fill a space. I like it when you choose art because you love it and then find a place for it. .

Well I hope you'll come back and update us with what you've decided. I think they all look very good in the space. I voted for 4 because it's a little less typical, although honestly I do like#1 as well....actually I do like them all.

Congrats on picking something special that means something to you and your husband. I actually love the color of your flooring and think it works well with your painting by pulling that the sunset color out of it. Not trying to dissuade you from redoing flooring, but thought I'd throw that thought out.
