With the material that you have you can make cute bows to hold your curtains or you can put the material at the bottom and give extra layers

For me, the curtains are too bright. The idea with bright colors, is to use them as an accent. What I suggest is to buy another set of solid color dark or white curtains curtains to go on either side of the curtains you have now (on the same rod) so that the pink is hanging on the INSIDE of the new curtain. Then I would cut out the under panel of the pink curtain (the shorter one that's bothering you) and make accent pillows out of the fabric. You will still get the effect you want with the sun coming through the soft pink curtain and have pillows somewhere else in the room to tie it all together.

I would tone down curtains and do an unexpected burlap or linen look. It looks great with a shabby glam look

I was thinking bows too, Angeline, but what Nicole and danajean said about adding a different more neutral colour to tone down the curtains is quite interesting and something I hadn't thought about, so I'll try that out. And if I'm lucky enough, I may even have some material left over for a little decorative pillow. ;) Great ideas! Thanks so much!! :)

I didn't bring up the color, because I just figured you really like pink! But that pink really grabbed the attention away from anything else in the room. Usually you want to make the bed the star.
