I believe the painter used Sherwin Williams, but I'm not sure of the specifics. If you paint the interior of the firebox, you need to make sure you use something formulated for heat. The homeowners haven't had any issues of paint smell when using the fireplace.

Do you know where the upholstered chairs are from? I am having a hard time finding chairs with ruffled skirts.

Where did you order the mantel from? Is it custom? How is it installed on the brick? Did you have to embed the mantel into the brick or does it just sit on the face and there are some gaps at the grout lines? Thanks!

Is there an update on this fireplace? Has it been used to burn wood and how did the paint withstand the smoke and heat?
