Things that can not be done are usually very expensive to do.

I see nothing there that would prevent a frameless glass enclosure. Find your own glass shop or insist your GC find one.

An angled brace at the left corner where the glass joins the wall. Assuming the hinges of the door are on the left.

The brace or frame is to support the hinges.

Shower door companies dictate what they are willing to stand behind based on industry standards.

Likely you can always find someone to take your money and run without warranty if you shop long enough but I wouldn't recommend it.

I have a curb-less shower with glass across the entire face. Mine is probably 9' across. So mine is not the same. That said, I did not go all the way to the ceiling with the glass and am very glad that I did not. Apparently, it is building code to have ventilation if you go up to the ceiling (I put in ventilation anyway), but my glass still steams up.

As Lomo said, there is going to be a lot of stress placed on a door. My hinges are installed to the wall, not another piece of glass, and I still worry about them given my children (they are hard on things and whether someone catches their finger in the door).

If you are far enough away from the shower faucet so that water won't spray outside the shower enclosure, I would also suggest that you just eliminate the middle piece of glass and not have a door.
