Looking for flooring suggestions for a Lakefront Mountain Penthouse condo with amazing views: The hoa requires carpet but with new products becoming available I'm curious about the notion that the only sound dulling flooring is carpet.

Any suggestions for sound dampening flooring that isn't carpet?

I'd love all marble or stone flooring with infloor radiant heat that invites the views in rather than distracting from them.
