They make pretty awesome FL washers, so I hope this is as good.

My only thing against combo washers is that you can’t really dry a full load in them. Nothing wrong with the machines. It’s just that you can’t defy physics.

And the physics dictate that the space required to efficiently dry your clothes needs to be 1.5x or larger than space required to wash them in.

And it’s easy to see this in practice. If you just take a look at all the matching sets of dryers next to their paired washing machines in any showroom, take note of the drum size disparity between the washer and dryer. It’s usually between 1.5 and 2X the washer’s drum volume.

So what this means is that if you wash a full load in your combo washing machine, it may take half a day to dry it, and will use a whole bunch of energy in the process.

So limit your load size to about 50% of the maximum capacity to avoid this problem.
