Hello all; I need your advice. I moved to a new city and cought a house that I love. I need some major electrical work and want to select a licensed electrician who does quality work. I need my service panel moved (It is in a small closet) and upgraded plus a partial house rewire (Aluminum wire replaced). I had a great electrician for my previous house who was his own owner/operator of his company with one helper and good rates and I am hoping to find the same. What questions should I ask to screen a prospective electrician to help assure high quality, safety, and reasonable rates? Are there any red flags to watch out for? Thanks for any advice and helpful tips you can provide.
