Island Pendant size

Help, we’re remodeling our kitchen. The island is 124” (10.33’) x 3.5’ (42”). I really would like to do two large pendants that are 28” each.
Should I do 2 or 3?
What is the correct spacing that they need to be from ends of each side, and in between pendants.
