We have a woodburning FP that shares a brick chimney with an oil fired boiler. The boiler flue was recently lined, so the two flues are definitely separate.

We have just noticed that we are getting some smoke/smell in the room from a wood fire when the boiler is running. We have heat pumps, so haven’t been using the oil burner much except for domestic hot water, until now when temps have fallen.

Would the boiler running affect the draft of the FP?
