Pitt Seating???

A lovely space to have! Consider a comfy sofa and a wide accent chair you can curl up in. A large velvet ottoman. Small drink table and lamps for reading.

Who is using the space and how many are using it? Pit seating IMO is not ideal for reading .It is not a huge space and is there an outdoor area from that space ? I would do some low book cases either one or two chairs with ottomans and a table and lamp beside each one and be done . Maybe a spot for a coffee maker if you plan to spend long periods of time ther e. In my experience thses spaces rarely get used no one is around during the day to enjoy the natural light and at night it seems most people are in the TV room . I guess only you will know how mych time you will spend there .

Two L-shape sectionals or U-shape one would work good in this space.

Depending on your wants and needs, you could look at doing a loveseat, two armchairs, and maybe a small side table or coffee table, along with a lamp. Here are a few ideas from a few of our designs. Please notice the furniture used.

I thought of this room by Amber Interiors when I read your post. This specific furniture might not be the most practical comfort wise depending on how you like to read but it’s always been one of my favorites. I would consider a built in for a portion of it. Something about it makes the area feel cozy up against the windows.
