are drywall window returns in a cold climate a bad idea?

Hi,
I really love the clean look of a window without trim around it. But I live in a Canadian city with cold winters and typically we can get cold spells of -30C (-22F) for a couple of weeks. Though we will have triple glazed windows I am still concerned about condensation / frost damaging the return. We will have triple glazed windows. Will this be a problem or should I go with a vinyl jamb instead? Will coatings help? Thanks!
