No, actually they always work perfectly and I have Maestro and Diva dimmers and occupancy sensors.

You do not have the timer installed in a 3-way configuration with a standard switch, correct? The MA-T51MNH timer does not support that.

For the three Maestro dimmers:

• Are the dimmers correctly grounded?
• Are ALL the bulbs dimmable, no exceptions?
• Are any of these installed in a 3-way configuration with a standard switch? If so, did you program the dimmer for this as described in the installation instructions?
• Did you set the dimming range as described in step 8 of the installation instructions?
• Did you set the Low-End Trim (and, optionally, the Preset Light Level) by following the instructions in the Maestro C•L Advanced Programming Mode document?
• Did you try resetting the dimmers to their default configurations by following the instructions in the Advanced Programming document?

For one Lutron occupancy sensor/dimmer, I had to reverse the hot and load wires connected to the black and brass screws, respectively. It then worked perfectly.

My sil had those and always found them annoying, she swapped them out for the diva style. It’s more intuitive.

The Maestro dimmers have many more features than the Diva.

Wdccruise- honestly- I have zero idea what those words mean BUT I wonder if the myriad things that have to be installed and installed correctly for these lights to work point to an installation problem more than a produce problem. Thanks for this info-it might be helpful to share with whatever electrician we have come in to look at them.

1. Well, you can check that the lights and bulbs are dimmable, right?
2. Try resetting a dimmer to its default setting by following the instructions on page 14 of the Maestro C•L Advanced Programming Mode document.
3. Then perform Step 8 of the Installation Instructions to set the dimming range.

Hallett and Co- Thanks for letting me know that I’m not the only one being driven to peak annoyance by my light switches:)

These are simple tasks for which there are written, illustrated instructions. It does not require a $150/hour electrician to perform them.

Wdccruise not everything needs to be complicated. I’d rather have a rotary dimmer than one I have to explain to house guests no matter how many features it has.

Ah, so you'd rip out the Maestro dimmers to replace them with rotary dimmers -- that don't work with LEDs -- so you wouldn't have to spend a few minutes on a one-time setup of the Maestro dimmers which have useful features such as the ability to have a pre-set level when turned on and to be configured to support LEDs that may require a higher starting voltage and to set minimum/maximum dimming levels. Well, ok.
