This is the only image I found with a wrap around porch on a slab foundation. Did you want it covered like this one, or just a paved area that wraps around the house?

Hi. I'm no expert but it seems to me a slanted porch roof would come down so low you'd have to duck to get under it. Have you considered extending the roof out about 8-10 feet? Perhaps something similar to this.
