Linear kitchen sink drain problem

I got a Elleci Dogma sink from a showroom as part of a showroom kitchen cabinet package which has the drain kit absent. It has a linear 6" x 1.75" drain hole which seems very rare to get. Is there any workaround by way of any tweaking a similar drain or any other?

I suspect this is one of those times when a ‘good deal’ turns out to be not as good as it seems. Obviously you’ve asked the showroom to order the part- discontinued or too expensive? No I can’t imagine a workaround from another manufacturer

Yes, the sink was given to me free due to this and the drain kit costs $400+ to have it here from Italy. However, I was keen to use the sink as the sink cutout 36"x19" is rare for a kitchen sink and the Krion countertop that came with it has to be modified otherwise.

$400+ for the drain seems like a deal then. But I'd also be looking at how it will connect to US sized trap and such - and forget about a garbage disposal.

Non-standard parts like that are no fun. They will be a maintenance problem when you can't get a basket, or need to replace something for example. But it sounds like you are committed to that sink now.
