That's gorgeous. I love the fabrics designed by Chong A Hwang. She (I think she's a she) designs the most gorgeous oriental fabrics. However, I never know what I would do with them. The pattern you chose is a great use of her designs. She designs really gorgeous panels, too.

Such a pertty quilt, Sue. I'm sure your friend will think it worth the wait. I love Asian-inspired fabrics too. Some years ago there was a nearby LQS that specialized in them, but, sad to say, they closed several years ago.

Lois, If that's the shop you took me to, I'm sure I still have some of the fabric I bought from them. What an awesome store. I think they closed not too long after we were there, didn't they?

Sue, Great lanterns. I don't think I've seen lanterns done this way. It's a fantastic pattern to use those large print Asian fabric.
